1.Making a booking
- A booking is a request to buy tickets at the wave price shown at checkout. Prices and remaining quantities are confirmed by our servers, not your browser.
- Some events require Organizer approval. Your booking stays “Pending approval” until the Organizer accepts it; if they decline, any payment already taken is refunded automatically to the same card.
- Some events require payment first and approval after; the event page tells you which flow applies.
- Unpaid bookings expire automatically after the hold window shown at checkout and the tickets return to sale.
2.Payment
Payment is processed by our licensed gateway partners. A Ticketro booking fee (and VAT where applicable) is added to the ticket price and clearly displayed before you confirm. Your booking is only confirmed once the gateway reports a successful payment; a “paid” screen on the gateway alone does not guarantee a ticket if the payment later fails or is reversed.
3.Your ticket & QR code
- Tickets are digital and appear in My account → Bookings. No paper tickets are issued.
- Each ticket has a rotating QR code. Screenshots stop working after 30 seconds — open the live ticket in your account at the door.
- Each ticket admits one person once. Leaving the venue and re-entering is not permitted unless the Organizer allows it; a second scan places the ticket on hold pending staff review.
- Do not share your QR code. The first person to scan it will be admitted.
4.Identity, age and dress code
Organizers may require a valid photo ID, a minimum age, a dress code or that your Instagram account matches the one on your booking. Entry may be refused — without refund — if these requirements are not met, if you are intoxicated, or if you breach venue rules.
5.Resale and transfer
Tickets may only be resold through the official Ticketro resale feature where the Organizer has enabled it, at or below the price cap they set. Tickets sold privately, on social media or through third-party sites may be cancelled without refund. Name changes are handled by the Organizer.
6.Cancellations, changes and refunds
Please see our Cancellation & Refund Policy. In short: rejected bookings are always refunded automatically; customer-initiated refunds follow the refund window and percentage set by the Organizer on the event page; cancelled events are refunded in full (ticket price and booking fee).
7.Event changes
Organizers may change the line-up, set times or venue within the same city. Such changes do not entitle you to a refund unless the Organizer decides otherwise. You will be notified by email and in your account.
8.Tax invoice
A PDF tax invoice for each paid booking is available in your account. Please ensure your name and details are correct before paying, as invoices cannot be re-issued after the event is finalised.
