1.Automatic refunds
- Booking rejected by the Organizer: if you paid before approval and the Organizer declines your booking, the full amount (ticket + booking fee) is voided or refunded to the same card automatically — no action needed.
- Event cancelled: all paid bookings are refunded in full, including the booking fee.
- Duplicate or failed payments: any amount captured for a booking that was not confirmed is refunded automatically once our reconciliation runs (usually within 24 hours).
2.Customer-requested refunds
Each Organizer sets a refund policy for their event, shown on the event page and in your booking: a cut-off (e.g. “up to 48 hours before doors”) and the percentage refunded. Within that window you can request a refund from My account → Bookings. Outside the window tickets are non-refundable unless the Organizer agrees otherwise.
The Ticketro booking fee is non-refundable on customer-requested refunds unless the Organizer's policy says otherwise.
3.Postponed or rescheduled events
If an event moves to a new date, your ticket remains valid for the new date. If you cannot attend, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the announcement, regardless of the Organizer's standard window.
4.No refund situations
- Refused entry for failing ID, age, dress-code or conduct requirements.
- Arriving after last entry, or not attending.
- Tickets bought outside the official Ticketro resale feature.
- Changes to line-up, set times or a venue change within the same city.
5.How refunds are paid
Refunds always go back to the original payment method through the same payment gateway. Once approved, the gateway releases funds within 5–14 business days depending on your bank. Payments that have not yet settled are voided instead, which is usually faster.
6.Disputes
If you believe a refund was wrongly declined, reply to your booking email or write to refunds@ticketro.org with your booking reference. Ticketro reviews disputes centrally and its decision is final where the Organizer's published policy was correctly applied. Please contact us before opening a chargeback — chargebacks on valid tickets may lead to account suspension.
