1.The Ticketro service
Ticketro is a marketplace. Event organizers (“Organizers”) list events and set ticket prices, quantities, waves and entry rules; Ticketro provides the technology to sell tickets, collect payments, deliver QR tickets and run check-in. Unless an event page states otherwise, the Organizer — not Ticketro — is the seller of the ticket and the party responsible for the event taking place.
2.Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, and meet the minimum age of any event you book.
- You must provide accurate details (name, phone, date of birth, Instagram) and keep them up to date; organizers may verify them at the door.
- You are responsible for keeping your login and your ticket QR codes confidential.
- One person, one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
3.Acceptable use
You agree not to: scrape or bulk-buy tickets with bots; resell tickets outside the official Ticketro resale feature; duplicate or alter QR codes; harass organizers or staff; attempt to bypass checkpoints, rate limits or security controls; or use the platform for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that breach these rules and cancel associated tickets without refund.
4.Prices, fees and taxes
Ticket prices are set by the Organizer. Ticketro may add a booking fee, which is always shown before you pay. Prices and availability are determined by our servers at the moment of checkout and may change between waves. Applicable VAT is included or itemised on your tax invoice.
5.Intellectual property
The Ticketro name, logo, “Every event. Every ticket. Every time.” tagline, software and site design are owned by Ticketro. Event imagery and descriptions belong to the respective Organizers. You may not reproduce them without permission.
6.Liability
Ticketro is not liable for the content, quality, cancellation, rescheduling or conduct of any event, nor for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the amount paid to Ticketro for that booking. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7.Termination
You may close your account at any time from My account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where legally required.
8.Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. We will always try to resolve complaints informally first — write to support@ticketro.org. Unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cairo courts.
9.Related policies
The Ticket Purchase Terms, Cancellation & Refund Policy, Privacy Policy and — for organizers — the Event Organizer Terms form part of these Terms.
